
Friends of Tryon Creek is a community-supported non-profit connecting youth to nature since 1970. Native Family Nights are free engaging and informative events that support Native families and their children to be successful in schools.
Native Family Nights
Families can expect to improve family understanding, confidence, and ability to navigate through school systems equipped with tools of community building, the relational worldview, intentional resilience, strength-based methods, and engaging youth in nature. Dinner will be provided, along with children’s activities.
Location: Tryon Creek State Natural Area 11321 S Terwilliger Blvd Portland Or 97219 (Our parking lot can be dark in the evenings. When you turn into the park entrance from S Terwilliger drive into the parking lot and look for the brown building with lights on, we will gather in the classroom.)
Time: 6-8 pm
