If you love owls, come out to Tryon Creek State Natural Area for an afternoon of owl celebration with activities for the entire family! Activities include owl pellet dissection, crafts and button making, and guided owl themed nature walks. Also on the schedule: owl presentations and close-up encounters with an education owl.

Owl Pellet Dissection Activity: Dissect owl pellets on the back deck of the Nature Center (10am-4pm)

Face Painting: Have your face painted with nature-themed imagery in the Nature Center Classroom (12:30-2:30pm)
Owls of Tryon Creek Table: Learn about owl species that live in Tryon Creek near the Friends Circle (10am-4pm)
Bird Alliance of Oregon: Learn about owl adaptations in the Nature Center (10am - 4pm)

*NOTE* Dmitri, the Eurasian Eagle-Owl from Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, is unable to attend Owl Fest this year. There will be no live owl at this event.
