Join the Friends of Tryon Creek staff for a guided hike through Tryon Creek State Nature Area as we participate in the City Nature Challenge. Spend time outside and collect valuable urban biodiversity data for science, management, and conservation! Meet at 10 am at the Nature Center for this hike. We’ll be helping folks navigate the iNaturalist app to record our findings.

The City Nature Challenge is a community-science event to observe and document as many plants and wildlife as possible in a 4-day period using iNaturalist. People participate from around the world, and this year is our fourth year participating!
