Owl Fest

This is an all ages free event, no pre-registration necessary. Parking is limited, please consider carpooling.

Portland is teeming with owl activity in the springtime months. If you love owls, come out to Tryon Creek State Natural Area for an afternoon and evening of owl celebration with activities for the entire family!

Activities include owl pellet dissection, owl crafts and guided hikes throughout the day, ending with a night hike.. Also on the schedule: two owl presentations and close-up encounters with the Audubon Education Owl Julio. See the full schedule below.
